2009 Texas Indian Market and Southwest Showcase
This show was held April 3-5, 2009, in Arlington, TX, at their Convention Center.  This is an outstanding show!!  If you
ever have a chance to attend this show, please do.  You will be very pleased with all the outstanding art and performers!

The promoters, Randy and Paula Wilkerson, do a fantastic job putting this show together.  They care about the artists!
They also put on the same type of show in Colorado in January.  I hoping to attend that one in 2010.  Please visit their
web site .....

This is me during  the show.
Yes, that's a big gourd up front.
.
This is Howard Dubois who is an outstanding western artist.  His
wife, Terry, takes care of my booth when I need a break.
Outstanding Texas folks!!!

I consider James Del Coriz and his wife, Doris,  very dear
friends.   Doris had to attend another show so their daughter
came with Dad to help him out. His family prepares all their
jewelry by hand.  He even goes to the turquoise mines to get
their turquoise.  Their jewelry is excellent, and yes, I own some.

I've been an admirer of Carla Romero
for several years and was thrilled I was
able to meet her at this show.

I ran around taking these photos before the show started.  This is just a few of the wonderful
work at the show.  I just didn't have enough time to get as many photos as I wanted.
ENJOY!!
This is Ginny Watts' art which I greatly admire.   She does the most
awesome minature gourds I've ever seen.  I've know Ginny and Dusti for
years and consider them friends.
Dusti Lockey is an excellent beader as you can see.  Ginny and her always
share a booth at this show.  They give my husband a hard time about
sleeping when he is suppose to be watching my booth .  He would much
rather be fishing!!!
